Friends – We KNOW next year will be a great deal better than the last, and we hope you will join us in building an even larger, better and more active ARChive.

Next year we’re going to launch an online site of the Keith Richards’ Blues Collection, continue to scan our 25,000 music books and host Brazilian World Music Day, a worldwide event in Sept.

We’re doing our best and can use your help.

Some nice LPs @ the ARC Holiday Sale

Just when we thought the cupboard was bare, Fred and Keith picked up over 4000 CDs today from DefJam/UMG/Universal and Elias Arts, a leading music company that does original scores for media (commercials, movies, games, etc), music supervision and audio branding.

Upstate today I was almost as busy picking up 700 choice LPs from producer/jazzman Dennis Bell. We’ll be working overtime the weekend to sort, catalog what we need for the collection, and hopefully have a nice pile ready for our sale.  We can’t thank these folks enough for their help and generosity.

Now these LPs we KNOW we have, as they’re already up on the wall and priced. As you can see the variety is pretty good. Plus we have 5 different original Residents LPs @ $12 ea.

So do drop by next Saturday to shop and say hi!

And you can always join the ARC and shop early, have a drink and food this Thursday at our members pre-sale cocktail party. Nice folks and it helps support the ARC.
